chat.deviantart.com/chat/TheWa… What makes them so different, you ask? Perhaps it is the constant state of perpetual fear and dread that they live in. Perhaps it is the strange box that is attached to their backs, fitting neatly between the shoulder blades- but with a single wire that presumably attaches some element of 'the box' to one's spine. Or, perhaps it is the fact that no one has any recollection of their previous life- or even how they ended up with the Box in the first place.
Whatever it is, there is no escape, save for the friendships formed within the bowels of The Center between the people living there. There are no exits, no doors. The Doctor and his staff come and go on their own time schedule that no one knows of, and through their own secret doors. No one knows when they will come, or who's 'box' the next dreaded experiment will be performed on.
This, is The Center.
~Setting: A warehouse style building with beds and individual hospital-style monitoring systems in each bedroom line three walls while class rooms and open recreation areas fill the middle of the open expanse. There are no visible entrances, save for the few dreaded rooms that line the fourth wall, and the showers that are also along that wall. The doctors enter and exit from their hidden entrances, creating an atmosphere of anticipated dread- for no one knows when they will return, and who they will 'test' next.
Antagonist: "The Doctor" who is in charge of the entire compound, and oversees all experiments (which are in one way or another related to 'the box' )
